Audio performance/installation, Birmingham 2008

‘My bedroom sings in G’ was an audio performance and installation consisting of found sound from electrical appliances in my bedroom. By amplifying the static noise of the appliances, mixing them through a mixing desk and rhythmically manipulating them through timer switches, a growing crescendo of static, industrial noise was created. This ended when the equipment and audience’s ears could not take any more. The performance took approximately 15 minutes.
